Proper Way to Hold a Pigeon
Put the bird's head towards your body with its legs between your Index and third finger and your thumb over the back. You can help support the bird with your other hand. If the bird starts to struggle tuck him in like you would a football and use your free hand to push the wing in so as not to hurt the bird or damage the feathers.
